ABOUT US
Announcement!
On behalf of the Bethel Sozo Ministry, Dawna de Silva and Teresa Liebscher are pleased to announce Andreas Meister as Regional Facilitator for Switzerland and Austria.
Andreas has been with Bethel Sozo since 2012. He has been a Sub-Facilitator and gained experience connecting to the Bethel Sozo teams and pastors, as well as in training, mentoring, ministering and leading the Bethel Sozo ministry in his local church.
How did SOZO come to Switzerland and Austria?
In March 2011, the first SOZO-Basic seminar in Switzerland was held in the Vineyard Langenthal. The speakers were Anna-Luisa and Holger Lötterle from Vineyard Speyer (D). In July 2011 the first SOZO-Advanced seminar in Switzerland took place in the Vineyard Langenthal. The speakers were Dawna DeSilva and Teresa Liebscher, founders of SOZO in Redding, California. Gero Herrendorff, the pastor responsible for counseling in the Vineyard Langenthal, was the first Regional Facilitator for Sozo in Switzerland and Austria from 2011 until his death in May 2017. The Swiss team hosted Austria’s first Basic-Seminar in Vienna on April 22, 2017. At the time there were around 30 churches in Switzerland in the official SOZO network.
Kurt Haefeli, (then) from FCG Aarau, took over from Gero as Regional Facilitator for Sozo in Switzerland and Austria. Not only has Kurt expanded the Sozo network in Switzerland, but also in Austria and South Tyrol, and basic seminars were also held in Albania, Uganda and Senegal. As Andreas Meister from FCG Winterthur took over the position as Regional Facilitator Switzerland and Austria from Kurt Haefeli in June 2023, there were already 39 churches in Switzerland, 5 in Austria and 2 in South Tyrol that were officially included in the Sozo network.
This powerful ministry has helped people in many different Christian churches to experience healing and deliverance which were not previously visible in the same way. We know from experience that this type of liberating pastoral ministry very swiftly gets to the roots of deep-seated personal issues. Our passion is that many churches in Switzerland and in Austria should become acqainted with this effectual tool – and start to use it for themselves. Our heart burns for the spreading of this wonderful ministry throughout Europe.

Switzerland and Austria

I’m happily married to Esther and we have two wonderful grown-up children.
SOZO amazes me because in it, I myself experienced how Papa God washed off shame and upheld me as His beloved son.
And when I lead SOZOs, the Holy Spirit surprises me every time with the way He supernaturally works on the SOZOees. Without Him, SOZO would make no sense.
And it is so easy for them to stay in dialogue with God themselves afterwards and continue moving towards wholeness.
Regional Leader
for Ticino

was born in Germany and lives with her husband Norman in the Italian-speaking Ticino region of southern Switzerland.
She received her first personal SOZO during a visit to Bethel Church in Redding, USA, in 2010. Ever since, she has been firmly convinced of the efficacy of the SOZO Ministry, and of the blessing it brings.
Her experience is that God uses SOZO to swiftly and effectively address people’s problems at the roots, to reveal to His children their identity and destiny, and to make possible a deeper relationship with God the Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit.
Christiane’s vision is to train and mentor leaders and teams in SOZO ministry so that His people may experience the healing and real presence of God.

My name is Marilyn Duvoisin, I have 5 marvellous children and I live in Orbe, in the Canton of Vaud. I love nature, painting, and playing my ‘cello. And above all I love seeing God at work in people’s lives – this is why I’m so passionate about SOZO. I believe that SOZO is an answer given by God for transforming the Church and the world.
Certified SOZO Trainers
SOZO Basic and Intensive Training
Adam & Linda Barnard
Solothurn district (Switzerland)

South Africans by birth, Adam & Linda moved to Switzerland with their family in 2001. Both Linda and Adam received several dreams and prophecies in which God confirmed their call to the healing ministry. The couple got involved in this ministry right from the outset, when Bethel SOZO was first introduced to Switzerland in 2011. At the end of 2017 they received Bethel Church certified approval to teach SOZO Basic courses. Since early 2018, they have both been involved in building a SOZO ministry in the recently planted ‘Zoe Dienst’ church. Their hearts’ desire is for SOZO to become a lifestyle for every Christian in Switzerland.

Daniel & RoseMarie Wunderli
Bern district (Switzerland)

We have been interested in inner healing and deliverance ever since 1986. In 2012, Gero Herrendorff told us about the Bethel SOZO Ministry. That same year, we attended the SOZO Basic seminar in Aarau, and then did a 10-week SOZO internship at Bethel Church in California in 2013. As a couple, we have since enjoyed being increasingly involved, heart and soul, in the SOZO Ministry both in Switzerland and abroad.
It thrills us to see
- people experiencing all-encompassing healing through God’s goodness and revelations
- God using SOZO to replace lies with His truths and set people free
- our own connection to God Father, Son and Holy Spirit strengthening thanks to SOZO
- the SOZO Ministry helping people to find their calling and grow in it
- healthy churches resulting from Christians being freed and healed
- people coming to know God face-to-face through SOZO
Our prayer and our goal is for
- the triune God to be glorified through the SOZO Ministry
- SOZO to be multiplied throughout the world so that many more thousands are saved, healed and delivered in God’s unique way

Karin & Martin Staple
Linz – Wien – Graz District

The two of us – Karin and Martin Staple – are SOZO Pastors at our church “Freikirche Treffpunkt Leben” in 4113 St. Martin (25 km from Linz in Upper Austria’s Mühlviertel region), where we head up the church’s SOZO Ministry.
We had been involved in pastoral counselling work at church, but when God drew our attention to SOZO we instantly saw what huge potential this ministry had to offer. After doing our SOZO Basic course in Innsbruck in Oct. 2015 we spent 10 weeks at Bethel Church’s Transformation Centre in Redding, CA, interning with SOZO co-founder Teresa Liebscher and her team.
Since returning from California we have built a SOZO ministry team at church, and have begun training up people from other churches to ready them for accreditation by our RF Kurt Haefeli. We taught our first SOZO Basic course in October 2019.
For ourselves, we love leading SOZOs as we never tire of seeing Jesus at work in them! His wonderful handwriting is always penning messages of only love and healing on people’s hearts. How amazing it is to see how people can be freed and better experience God, or to be there when, for the first time in their life, someone meets Jesus Christ in a SOZO!
